Our Vision
The Hoima Diocese External Resident Association (HODERA) unites students from Hoima Diocese studying away from home, fostering a sense of belonging, faith, and leadership. Through community, mentorship, and spiritual engagement, we support each other on campus and build lasting connections. Join us for regular meetings, faith-based activities, and social events that celebrate our shared heritage and values.
Active Involvement
Members participate in weekly gatherings, group discussions, mentorship sessions, and cultural events. Every activity is crafted to strengthen your faith, build friendships, and support academic success. Whether you’re new or have been with us for years, your presence matters.
Leadership Roles
Step forward to organize events, lead discussions, or coordinate outreach initiatives. HODERA offers opportunities for every member to serve, develop new skills, and grow as a leader within our vibrant community.
Key Activities
Our main activities include community prayers, academic support, charity drives, and cultural celebrations. Together, we encourage one another and extend support to fellow students, both spiritually and socially.
Mutual Support
We reach out to members in need, offering guidance, encouragement, and practical help. Through unity and compassion, we make a meaningful difference in our chaplaincy and beyond.
Personal Growth
Our programs nurture holistic development through faith, reflection, and service. We inspire members to grow spiritually, academically, and as responsible citizens.
